Ce grand Paon Public est une oeuvre collective, réalisée pour la Mairie de Montreuil, à l’occasion des Journées européennes des Métiers d’Art. Durant une intense journée, nous avons finalisé et rempli la structure (préparée dans mon supervolumique atelier) en soudant divers métaux, chacune dans son style! Aux commandes, cinq soudeuses de choc : Laurence Murat, Aurore Comte, Juliette Lanos, Lavinia Aubry et moi-même.

Le résultat est un magnifique paon qui fait la roue de joie à l’idée d’ offrir au moins six places assises aux Montreuillois !

This great bench is a collective artwork. It was made for the city of Montreuil, during the European Days of the Art and Craft, by the five of us, the best female welders ever : Laurence Murat, Aurore Comte, Lavinia Aubry, Juliette Lanos and your humble supervolumish, who made the whole structure before the D-days. During one buzzy saturday, we gave a great show to the people, by filling the structure with stick-welded collected various metals, getting a luxuous and impressive magic peacock bird, whose feathers are welcoming any visitor for a nice sitting.
