The most famous and internationally mediatized artistic squat in Paris was this one, no doubt on it : the 59 Rivoli. Many people went there, they saw and they did the same in their own countries, and cities… The place is now legal. It means more time and also more rules. But as long as artists will be able to create in this building, and resist against the real estate speculation, the fight of the beginnings will have an echo.
